Wild Caught: Good or Bad?

Should I feed my scorpion insects that are wild caught. The answer to this question, if you ask most scorpion hobbyists is NO.

There are several reasons for this. But the main one is that you have no control over what the wild caught cricket or roach has been exposed to. They may have been exposed to some type of insecticide that did not kill them, but could be lethal to your scorpion.

The best thing to feed your scorpion are insects that either you have raised yourself, purchased from a local pet store, or bought from a good Internet source.
