Mesic

A mesic is defined by Freedictionary.Com as "characterized by, or adapted to a moderately moist habitat." A species coming from a "Mesic" habitat is going to flourish in humid areas. Some species are split between Mesic and Xeric e.g. Centruroides vittatus.
